This work is significantly influenced byHenrietta Harris, “Victoria”. Every curve andswirl dissolves the subject into infinity. Itdemonstrates the irony of one’s being caughtin a deliberative moment while neglecting thesurrounding to escape from cruel reality. Itbalances out silent expression with the sullenly colored background.
“A silence is worth a thousand words.” Starting from an actual photograph, through my own perception combine with Henrietta Harris’s technique, I delineate the similarities and differences between restoration and destruction, by capturing one’s emotions through a journey lost in thoughts or memories. Simply surrendering and giving in peacefully to the most beautiful thoughts.
